According to 2012 research in the US, 15% of Dog and Cat owners had lost their pets within the last 5 years. Tagi is designed to speed up the process of re-uniting the two, by having both pet owners and the public be alerted to local lost pets, and able to report sightings. Using location technology, Tagi can target your lost pet search area, and put your lost pet alert out to thousands of local pet lovers. When you mark your pet as lost, Tagi will send a message out to all people registered or running the app within the local area and they will be alerted to your lost animal. If they spot your precious animal, they can instantly message you back letting you know where and when the pet was spotted, allowing you to go collect your pet quickly. It’s the technological version of posters on trees (and we create a poster for you as well, incase you wish to go “old school”).
